I wanted to learn the handstand for multiple years know. Until now I just build muscle mass. Lets see if I can progress to it in this winter with this workout.

So I usually just do the mobility flows first thing in the morning but I got a thought to do a handstand prep routine to help my thoracic spine… I’m so glad I did. This was amazing!!!
Next day update: I have chronic pain in my neck and shoulders that never leaves (15 years now)… I woke up this morning with the least pain and most mobility I’ve had in…. Ever?? Thank you so much for a great routine! This is going to be on a regular rotation for upper body day!
really enjoyed this workout! really tough but enough to start progressing!! I loved the moves but would love a gap in between the exercises to see what was coming next, found I had to stop and start a lot, but will definitely be doing this again! thankyou!!

Now one of my goal in fitness is to be able to do a full handstand. So I hope by sticking to this video once a week and doing all my other workouts that one day I'll be able to do full handstands safely. Thank you so so so much can't wait to tell you about my progress !!!

Wow! I’m drenched in sweat, and my abs and deltoids are on fire.
And I sense I’ll be doing the modified hand stands for quite awhile using a chair. (Meanwhile, you make them seem almost easy!)
I find them especially difficult - so kudos to you David 😎🔥

Thanks Julia! There are some basic strength skills you showed that I am not doing. Hope it helps. I am on month 2 of trying to handstand, It is a slow journey.

Tip: It helps to be in a triangle postion with youre head and arms. Youre head is the top of the triangle and you hands are the sides. Example: Head

Hi Mariea, I appreciate your interest but I intentionally don't make videos like this 😊. The reason for this being mostly unhealthy comparison. Because what works for me might not work for you or vice versa.
I've been training for 10 years now and went through many phases. I don't track my calories (anymore) and due to the number of projects I have going on I mostly eat out or get takeaway. I don't restrict or overthink my choices and honestly it's been like this for 3 years now and I've never been happier ☺️.

Do you have any recommendations for workouts to do daily? I saw on another comment that this is only meant to be done 3 or 2 times a week, and I would like to exercise daily that'll help with handstands😊

Nooo! Too much work for the wrists. 😊 1x a week, maybe 2x max!

This one is quite hard on the wrists - I‘d suggest starting off with 1x/week and see how you go. Then increase to 2x/week (or exchange with the other handstand routine on my channel).
But no more than that 😊.
If you want to incorporate more handstand training I would suggest doing light skill work (technique drills or wall hs) for max. 10-20 mins for example at the start of your gym training or even just separate (with a good warm up!). Always listen to your body - especially the wrists can get injured pretty quickly. 🙏🏼
